At an uncontrolled "T" intersection, the vehicle on the through road has the right of way. This is established to ensure safe and orderly traffic flow at intersections where no signage or signals dictate the right of way. As a result, vehicles on the terminating road must yield to those on the through road when they approach the intersection.

If a vehicle is on the road that ends, it must come to a complete stop and look for oncoming traffic from the through road before proceeding.
